UFV is a member of the transatlantic Regnum Christi International Universities (RIU) including partner universities from Mexico, Chile, USA and Italy; global networks including International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media (CUMULUS); International Council of Universities of Saint Thomas Aquinas (ICUSTA); International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC), as well as Catholic Consortium for International Higher Education Collaboration (CCIHEC) with a mission to advance international collaboration among Catholic institutions of higher education, while ensuring each institution’s adherence to its own institutional mission statements.
In addition, UFV’s European networks include e.g. European Federation of Catholic Universities (FUCE) and European Association for International Education (EAIE).
The Hague Network (2017) consists of a group of seven universities striving to reinforce internationalization with a strategic alliance.
The Hague network seeks to both improve the overall quality of education and to broaden the perspectives underpinning it in order to prepare students for the globalized world and, particularly, the world of work. As important, is to embrace change in pedagogy via technology where this can improve and enhance traditional educational practices.
These are the members of the network, besides UFV: The Hague University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands), Masaryk University (Czech Republic), Derby University (United Kingdom), Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Universitá degli Studi di Cagliari (Italy) and Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
