We invite you this Wednesday, June 24th at 7 pm (Madrid time zone) to join our last Buddy Program meeting of the year, entitled “What hurts my brother hurts me”, during which Sampson Offiong Nsemoh, incoming student at UFV in the current academic year and regular student at Georgia State University, Brother Edwin D. Leahy, Headmaster at St. Benedict’s Preparatory School in Newark (watch this video!) will tell us about their experience with the #blacklivesmatter movement and what is happening in the USA since George Floyd’s death on May 25.
Sam has been participating in different demonstrations because he realizes “enough is enough”, and is really longing for a change. Brother Edwin will tell us about the school the benedictine monks run since 1868, where they give their whole life for educating coloured and white scholars in a harmonic and loving coexistence. Enclosed you may find an invitation to the event.
The meeting will be held in both Spanish and English.
- We kindly ask you to register for the event through this link so we can make sure you can access on Wednesday.

It is truly a unique opportunity to meet amazing people, who will help us to become aware of our real need, as well as that of our neighbor’s.
We hope to greet you in the meeting.
