Meeting with Ivan Malý, Vice Rector Internationalisation, and Jan Pavlik. The meeting concluded with an agreement that providing the Faculties were in favour then a partnership would indeed be both possible and desirable.
– Meeting with representatives of Faculty of Law (Michal Radvan, Vice Dean), Faculty of Education (Eva Janebova, Head of International Co-operation and Curriculum), Faculty of Economics and Administration (Petr Smutny, Vice Dean External Affairs), Faculty of Informatics (Petr Sojka, Vice Dean for Foreign Affairs, Public Relations and Quality) as well as Ivan Malý (Vice Rector Internationalisation) and Jan Pavlik (Director of the Centre for International Cooperation). All of the Masaryk University representatives present were in favour of expanding cooperation.
– Meeting with Violetta Osouchová (Head of Division International Strategy) and Šárka Prokopová, (Program Manager, Inter-university agreements). General discussions around SP strategy and Staff Mobility (Academic and Support Staff).
– Meetings with Petr Smutny (Vice Dean of External Affairs, Faculty of Economics and Administration) and Tomáŝ Vespalec (Vice Dean of External Affairs, Faculty of Sports Studies). Both expressed a great desire to work with THUAS initially on staff/student exchange but also subsequently in areas of curriculum development and joint research.
– Meeting with Faculty of Education held at the Villa Stiassni. Jiří Němec (Dean of Faculty), Eva Janebova, (Head of International Co-operation and Curriculum), and other members of staff. It was agreed by all that the meetings had demonstrated a range of possibilities for cooperation. There was a broad consensus that this could be a very useful partnership for all.
MoU is signed and Masaryk University becomes Strategic Partner.
